The first three Jesuits were roommates at the University of Paris (circa 1530):

Ignatius of Loyola; Frances Xavier; and Peter Faber

Currently, there are 19,000 Jesuits in the world; 2,400 in the U.S. (about 100 in the Milwaukee area)

Main Jesuit ministries in the U.S.: high schools, colleges and universities; retreat houses; parishes; missions among Native Americans
